PM's bilateral engagements in Brisbane - November 15, 2014

The Prime Minister held bilateral meetings with the President of France, Mr. Francois Hollande, and the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Stephen Harper. This was the first time he met both leaders, and both of them invited him to visit their countries. The Prime Minister has accepted both invitations. In his meeting with Mr. Harper, he condemned the recent attack on the Canadian Parliament. In both meetings, the Prime Minister reiterated his stand that religion should be delinked from terrorism.hollande-684 harper-684

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam, seeks blessings of Maa Kaalratri

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, sought the blessings of Maa Kaalratri and prayed that her grace enriches everyone’s life with courage, resolve and success.

The Prime Minister said that the worship of the Goddess instils renewed self-confidence among devotees and fills everyone with a new sense of energy.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

“वामपादोल्लसल्लोहलताकण्टकभूषणा। वर्धन्मूर्धध्वजा कृष्णा कालरात्रिर्भयङ्करी॥”

The Prime Minister also shared a recital in praise of the Goddess.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said;

“मां कालरात्रि को नमन! उनके आशीष से सबका जीवन साहस, संकल्प और सफलता से समृद्ध हो यही कामना है।

वामपादोल्लसल्लोहलताकण्टकभूषणा।

वर्धन्मूर्धध्वजा कृष्णा कालरात्रिर्भयङ्करी॥”

“देवी मां की आराधना भक्तों में नए आत्मविश्वास का संचार करती है। उनकी साधना हर किसी को एक नई ऊर्जा से भर देती है।”
