India celebrates 76th Republic Day

The 76th Republic Day celebrations at Kartavya Path showcased India's unity, strength and heritage. PM Modi paid homage at the Rashtriya Samar Smarak. The event was graced by President Droupadi Murmu and Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto. The Armed Forces' marching contingents displayed discipline and valour, while vibrant cultural performances highlighted India's rich diversity. The Indian Air Force's breathtaking flypast captivated the audience. The PM also greeted the people gathered for the celebrations.

PM Modi reaffirms resolve to harness Science & Tech for National Development and Global Good on National Science Day

The Prime Minister highlighted that, on National Science Day, we celebrate the spirit of research, innovation, and scientific curiosity that drives our nation forward.

PM Modi stated that, “This day commemorates the groundbreaking discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir CV Raman”. The Prime Minister noted that this discovery placed Indian research firmly on the global map.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that our resolve to empower our youth, strengthen research ecosystems, and harness science and technology for national development and global good.
