Hon'ble CM inaugurates a hi-tech mega exhibition at Mahatma Mandir

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today while inaugurating a hi-tech mega exhibition at Mahatma Mandir today expressed confidence that the exhibition will help young entrepreneurs to get glimpses of future developments in the industries.

A high-tech mega exhibition spreading in about 33,000-sq.meter has begun today on the site of Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. The exhibition houses various theme pavilions and about 300 stalls of around 45 countries and 19 states of India, and talks about the immense possibilities of development that lies in 18 different sectors.

The site also includes a 6000-sq.feet infotainment zone that will take the visitor into the past with real time rendering of Mahatma Gandhi and Sardar Patel’s speeches and will take the visitor to the 3-D walk through the future cities of Gujarat, using the most modern digital technologies.

Chief Minister, on the occasion, said the mega exhibition is an example of how the hi-tech technology can be incorporated in the development of the state.

Mentioning the Global Investors’ Summit, Shri Modi said that it has created a positive atmosphere for doing business in the state. Successful organization of the summit has demonstrated the collective strength of Gujarat. Image of Gujarat will also extend benefits to the other parts of the country, he added.

Chief Minister also launched ‘The Gujarat’ - an English quarterly and various other books including a coffee table book on port development, ‘Legacy of Gujarat’ by health department, ‘Gujarat On Roads To Golden Health’ by forest department, ‘Medicinal Plants Of Gujarat’, ‘Glimpses Of Forests In Gujarat’, ‘Gujarat Leads The Way’ and others.

Finance Minister Shri Vajubhai Vala, Canada’s high commissioner Mr. Stewart Beck, Minister of State for industries Shri Saurabh Patel, Adani’s Shri Gautam Adani, Torrent’s Shri Sudhir Maheta, Sterling groups’ Shri Nitin Sandesariya, Assar’s Shri Prashant Ruea and Reliance’s Shri Parimal Nathawani, Principal Secretary for Industries Shri M.Shahu, MLAs, MPs, Secretaries and dignitaries from across the world were present on the occasion.

PM participates in Kullu Dussehra

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi participated in the Kullu Dussehra celebrations at the Dhalpur Ground of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh today.

The Prime Minister was welcomed and facilitated upon his arrival. This was followed by the arrival of Bhagwan Raghunath Ji and it marked the commencement of the Rath Yatra. A huge crowd had gathered at the occasion to welcome the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister walked to the main attraction with lakhs of other devotees and paid his tributes to Bhagwan Raghunath. The Prime Minister greeted everyone present on the occasion with folded hands and witnessed the divine Rath Yatra along with the grand assembly of the deities in the historic Kullu Dussehra celebrations. A historic occasion, this was the first time ever that the Prime Minister of India had participated in the Kullu Dussehra celebrations.

The International Kullu Dussehra Festival is to be celebrated from 5th to 11th October 2022 at Dhalpur Ground of Kullu. The festival is unique in the sense that it is the congregation of more than 300 Deities of the Valley. On the first day of the Festival, the Deities in their well-decorated palanquins pay their obeisance at the temple of the Chief Deity Bhagwan Raghunath Ji and then proceed to the Dhalpur Ground.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Jai Ram Thakur, Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting, Shri Anurag Thakur, and BJP State President, Shri Suresh Kumar Kashyap among others.

Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister had dedicated to the nation, AIIMS, Bilaspur. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of multiple projects in Himachal Pradesh in Luhnu, Bilaspur.
