PM Modi took part in the G-20 Summit in Buenos Aires from 29 November -01 December 2018. The Prime Minister held talks with heads of other participating nations and deliberated on the situation of global economy and trade, international financial and tax systems, women empowerment, infrastructure and sustainable development. The JAI (Japan-America-India) trilateral and RIC (Russia-India-China) trilateral were also held on the margins of the G-20 Summit.
