At the invitation of PM Shinawatra, PM Modi visited Bangkok, Thailand, from 3-4 April 2025 to participate in the 6th BIMSTEC Summit. On the sidelines of the Summit, the PM also held bilateral talks with leaders of several neighbouring countries. PM Modi and PM Shinawatra also visited the Wat Pho, one of Thailand's sacred Buddhist landmarks.
