Acknowledging a festive fervour across the country, PM Modi addressed a public rally in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. PM Modi hailed the Indian scientists and their contribution for landing Chandrayaan-3 at the Moon’s South Pole, with India becoming the first country to achieve this feat. He also acknowledged the efforts of the 140 crore Indian people in making the hosting of the People’s G20 a successful endeavour.

PM Modi said, “It was the first time that various nations who lacked a voice have been provided with the same during this G20 Summit”. He added that prioritizing the downtrodden and the isolated became a priority in this G20.

On the state of Chhattisgarh, PM Modi said, “The state which was infamous for naxal violence is today the state is famous for the unprecedented development done by the BJP’s efforts”. Furthermore, PM Modi said that the Congress Government in the state has not promoted the state’s welfare and has only focused on ‘political gimmickry’ making it extremely unfortunate for the people of the state.

“Basic Housing for All is our vision but the Congress Government in Chhattisgarh is not allowing the people of the state to enjoy the various benefits of the schemes, depriving people of their basic necessities,” added PM Modi. “The Congress Government is only interested in filling its own coffers, preventing Garib Kalyan and over the years the levels of corruption of the Congress Government have known no limits,” said PM Modi.

The Chhattisgarh Government is based on a plank of false promises and they have only indulged in corruption scandals, said PM Modi. On one hand, when they promised of making Chhattisgarh a liquor-free state and on the other hand they have committed the liquor scam, said PM Modi. The ‘District Mineral Foundation’ that was launched for tribal welfare has been used by the Congress Party as an ATM to siphon off funds, added PM Modi.

On Poverty, PM Modi said, “The Congress Party is replete of fake guarantees as even 50 years back they had the Mantra of ‘Garibi Hatao’ and even today they contest elections on the same fake guarantee.”

“Through our policy initiatives to empower the poor and the downtrodden, we have enabled effective and good governance leading to the lifting of 13 crore people out of poverty in 5 years,” said PM Modi.

Our model of Governance has enabled an impetus to the infrastructure of Chhattisgarh, added PM Modi. He said that the progress of the state would have been much faster had there been a BJP Government in the state as well. We have always prioritized the health of the poor tribals and for the same we also the launched National Sickle Cell Anaemia Mission, enabling prompt detection and treatment for the genetic disease, added PM Modi.

On tribal empowerment, PM Modi said that all our policies have always been directed towards the development of the tribals. The Van Dhan Kendras has been a positive reinforcement with this regard that is enabling the economic empowerment of our tribal people.

Coming down heavily on the Opposition’s alliance, PM Modi said, “The egoistic I.N.D.I Alliance, indulging in divisive politics intends to eradicate Sanatan Dharma”. The same Sanatan Dharma, that Lord Ram represents and the people of Chhattisgarh represent, PM Modi added. “The pure frustration of the I.N.D.I Alliance of not being to govern at the Centre has today made them desperate to attack India’s foundational values of Sanatan Dharma,” added PM Modi. Further, PM Modi said, “It is the Sanatan Dharma and its influence that has created legendary and heroic figures showcasing the pride of both Chhattisgarh and India”.

In conclusion, PM Modi stated, “Today, India is a land of unparalleled and unprecedented opportunities, which even the global powers have acknowledged”. He said that if Chhattisgarh has to be a part of this journey then it has to shed the corrupt allegiance of the Congress Party and must embody the spirit of ‘Viksit Bharat and Viksit Chhattisgarh’.
