Prime Minister Narendra Modi today attended the Bhoomipujan of Gandhinagar railway station. He said railways are connected with every citizen and the poorest of the poor benefit due to railways. He said that railways add ‘Gati’ (speed) and ‘Pragati’ (progress) to the nation. Shri Modi added that the NDA Government has accorded topmost priority to the railways and to make the rail network modern. 

Prime Minister Modi said that the Government wants railways to bring a qualitative difference in the lives of citizens. PM also said that budget allocation for railways has increased and work relating to railway infrastructure is being carried out at fast pace.

Prime Minister congratulates Indian contingent on winning Gold Medals at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian contingent of Kanishk Jain, Riddhesh Anant Bendale, Rishit Garg, Shresth Suraiya and Svarit Joshi for winning Gold Medals at the 56th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) 2026 held in Bucaramanga, Colombia.

The Prime Minister said that their feat reflects yet another example of the limitless potential of the nation’s Yuva Shakti and their passion for science and research.

Shri Modi also noted that, over the last decade, Indian students have performed exceptionally well in the various editions of this platform.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
