PM visits Tulsi Manas Temple & Durga Mata Temple in Varanasi

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, visited the historic Tulsi Manas Temple in Varanasi this evening. He released a postal stamp on “Ramayana,” on this occasion.

Emphasizing the significance of the occasion, when a stamp on the theme of “Ramayana” is being released in the precincts of the Tulsi Manas Temple, the Prime Minister said that stamps have a special place in society. They are a wonderful way to preserve our history, he added. The Prime Minister also spoke of how the life and ideals of Lord Rama continue to inspire everyone. 

 The Prime Minister later visited the Durga Mata Temple, and Durga Kund.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, spoke to Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan and enquired about his well-being.

The Prime Minister noted that Shri Pawan Kalyan is remarkably courageous and expressed confidence that he will recover very soon. Shri Modi also prayed for his good health.
