The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has saluted the unparalleled accomplishments of the girl child, on National Girl Child Day.

"On National Girl Child Day, I salute the unparalleled accomplishments of the girl child. Their role in nation building is paramount.

Let us affirm to end discrimination against the girl child and ensure our daughters get equal opportunities to shine", the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today extended his warm greetings to the people of Gujarat on the special occasion of Gujarat Day.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Warm greetings to the people of Gujarat on the special occasion of Gujarat Day. This day is a celebration of the rich history, vibrant culture and remarkable spirit of Gujarat. The state has made an outstanding contribution to India's progress. The dynamic and enterprising nature of the people is noteworthy. May Gujarat continue scaling new heights of progress in the coming times.”
