Maryam contributes Rs. 11,000 each to PMNRF & Swachhta Abhiyan

Ms. Maryam Asif Siddiqui, a 12 year old student from Mumbai, today called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. She has recently won the Bhagavad Gita Champion League, organized by ISKCON – the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.



During her meeting with the Prime Minister, Ms. Maryam donated Rs. 11,000/- each to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, and the Swachhta Abhiyan. The Prime Minister gifted her five books on different religions. He congratulated her for her achievement, and said her interest in various religions is an inspiration for all Indians.



Ms. Maryam was accompanied by her parents, Shri Asif Naseem Siddiqui and Smt. Farhan Asif Siddiqui.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that he was honoured to be in Pahadpur village in Odisha with President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu on her birthday.

The Prime Minister noted that Pahadpur is the President’s village and said that the work done by her is truly inspiring.

Shri Modi prayed for the President’s long and healthy life.
