Maryam contributes Rs. 11,000 each to PMNRF & Swachhta Abhiyan

Ms. Maryam Asif Siddiqui, a 12 year old student from Mumbai, today called on the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. She has recently won the Bhagavad Gita Champion League, organized by ISKCON – the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.



During her meeting with the Prime Minister, Ms. Maryam donated Rs. 11,000/- each to the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, and the Swachhta Abhiyan. The Prime Minister gifted her five books on different religions. He congratulated her for her achievement, and said her interest in various religions is an inspiration for all Indians.



Ms. Maryam was accompanied by her parents, Shri Asif Naseem Siddiqui and Smt. Farhan Asif Siddiqui.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi invited everyone to join #ParikshaPeCharcha26 to be held tomorrow, 6th February at 10 AM. He highlighted that this year’s edition will feature very interesting topics relating to examinations, notably the importance of remaining stress free and focusing on learning. The Prime Minister emphasized that this platform has always been one he enjoys, as it provides him with the opportunity to interact with bright minds from across the country.
