Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Chhattisgarh Rajyotsav. He also unveiled the bust of Pt. Deendayal Upadhyaya and a jungle safari project- Nandan Van.

The Prime Minister during his address said that Chhattisgarh has immense potential for tourism.

This was the Prime Minister’s third visit to Chhattisgarh. First, he visited Dantewada on May 9, 2015 and second time he visited Naya Raipur and Dongargarh on February 21, 2016.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of noted cartoonist Shri Narayan Debnath Ji.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;
