PM congratulates Sania Mirza

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has congratulated Sania Mirza for winning the US Open Mixed Doubles title. 

“Congratulations to Sania Mirza for the victory in the US Open Mixed Doubles Finals. We are very proud of the achievement,” the Prime Minister said.

The Prime Minister also congratulated Japanese tennis player Kei Nishikori for making it to the US Open Finals.

“Good news from US Open continued with Kei Nishikori`s exemplary win! My best wishes to this young sportsman for the Final,” the Prime Minister said.

Prime Minister speaks with Crown Prince and PM of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today spoke with Crown Prince and PM of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman and discussed the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Shri Modi reiterated India’s condemnation of attacks on regional energy infrastructure, and the need to ensure freedom of navigation and keeping shipping lines open and secure. “Thanked him for his continued support for the welfare of the Indian community in Saudi Arabia”, Shri Modi stated.

Shri Modi posted on X:

“Spoke with Crown Prince and PM of Saudi Arabia, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman and discussed the ongoing conflict in West Asia.

I reiterated India’s condemnation of attacks on regional energy infrastructure.
