The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has said Buddhism is a very strong bond between China and India. He said he looks forward to welcoming President Xi Jinping in Ahmedabad on 17th (of September), and he is sure the Chinese President’s visit will strengthen India-China ties.

The Prime Minister said Gujarat too has a very rich Buddhist heritage. He also shared some informative slides on this, including Vadnagar excavations, on social media
