During his Mann Ki Baat address, Shri Narendra Modi said that the government, society, institutions, organizations and people in general were making some or the other effort towards greater cleanliness. He highlighted the initiative of Ministry of Water and Sanitation of the Government of India in furthering the message of cleanliness. He mentioned about toilet pit emptying exercise in Telangana and how waste disposed could easily be converted and used as NPK fertilizers by the farmers.
