On 4th October 2012, Shri Narendra Modi spoke on various issues ranging from development, the issue of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi’s travel expenses and the gimmick of Minister Kapil Sibal in an interview with a news agency.

Shri Modi said that this election, like the election on 2002 and 2007 is being fought solely on the development agenda.

On the issue of Mrs. Sonia Gandhi’s travel expenses, he said that whatever he said has been cited by PTI release and the RTI activist himself has said he is denied information for long.

The Chief Minister spoke about the gimmick of Minister Kapil Sibal and asked why should a tablet intended for youth be sent to a Chief Minister?

He spoke about the Prime Minister not respecting the federal structure of the nation.

Prime Minister condoles the loss of lives due to a road accident in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today condoled the loss of lives due to a road accident in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. He announced an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF for the next of kin of each deceased and Rs. 50,000 to the injured.

The PMO India handle in post on X said:

“Saddened by the loss of lives due to a road accident in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand. Condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in the mishap. May the injured recover soon.

An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF would be given to the next of kin of each deceased. The injured would be given Rs. 50,000: PM @narendramodi”
