Rajya Sabha MP and former Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narhari Amin Ji spoke about Narendra Modi’s unique parting gift to his staff in Gujarat before he became the Prime Minister of India. He revealed how Narendra Modi donated the salary he had received as the CM of Gujarat and some other financial receipts.
Shri Narhari Amin Ji said that the entire surplus income which Narendra Modi had received, which was about Rs. 35 to 40 lakhs, he donated it among security officers, peons, cook and janitor who had worked with him for 12 years in Gujarat.
“For 70 years of independence, no political person, be it CM, MP, Union Minister or a corporation leader, while switching positions, nobody has given the surplus income to the staff,” Shri Narhari Amin Ji added further.
