At the invitation of Slovak Republic PM Robert Fico, PM Modi visited Slovakia on 15 June 2026. During the visit, he held discussions with PM Fico and elevated the India-Slovakia relationship to a Comprehensive Partnership. The PM also held discussions with President Peter Pellegrini, who conferred upon him The Order of the White Double Cross (1st Class), the highest honour of Slovakia.
