1357 dedicated Karyakartas have ventured across the length and breadth of Gujarat, meeting people
Phenomenal response received. Karyakartas welcomed warmly wherever they go!
The advent of November is marked by a slight nip in the air as people bid goodbye to summers. This year, the festive season extends fully into November- the 9-day Navratri festivities recently concluded and everyone is eagerly awaiting Diwali.But, experiencing a totally different kind of joy are 1357 energetic Karyakartas of the Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) who have ventured into the villages of Gujarat to interact with the people of the state. These Karyakartas are traversing the length and breadth of Gujarat as a part of the Vidhan Sabha Vijay Prayan Abhiyan. Under this Abhiyan, these Karyakartas will meet people and cover 30,000 booths. The Abhiyan will end on Sunday 4th November 2012 with Youth Conventions in 900 district Panchayats.
So far the Karyakartas have received a phenomenal response from all parts of Gujarat. Wherever they go, they are welcomed with open arms. People are eager to interact with them and they too are giving their ears to the people they meet, sharing their joys and sorrows.
When this Abhiyan was launched on 31st October in Gandhinagar, Shri Modi delivered one of his most inspiring speeches in which he motivated the young Karyakartas and shared his own anecdotes when he was devoted to strengthening the organisation. Those present on the occasion were moved by Shri Modi’s encouraging words.
At the core of Shri Modi’s speech was the fact that the BJP not only respects but also celebrates its Karyakarta. The Karyakarta is the heart of the party. He said that BJP's strengths are Karyakartas & love of people, unlike Congress that relies on allegations, lies & money to win polls.
Shri Modi also told them that they would in the villages people would ask them why are they venturing out in this festive season but assured them that there will be another Diwali, which will be extremely grand that will be celebrated on 20th December!
