The Prime Minister said that the Statue of Unity is a monumental tribute to Sardar Patel and his vision of India’s unity and strength. He added that standing tall as the world’s tallest statue, it is a symbol of national pride and the nation’s collective resolve to fulfil Sardar Patel’s dreams.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“Paid homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at the ‘Statue of Unity’ in Kevadia.

SoU is a monumental tribute to Sardar Patel and his vision towards India’s unity and strength. Standing tall as the world’s tallest statue, it is a symbol of national pride and collective resolve to fulfil Sardar Patel’s dreams.”

UK Foreign Secretary meets Prime Minister

UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper today met Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

The Prime Minister expressed his pleasure upon the meeting and appreciated the deepening of the India-UK partnership in recent times which has unlocked unprecedented growth opportunities for both countries.

The Prime Minister affirmed that the India-UK Vision 2035 will continue to guide the partnership and strengthen joint efforts for the global good.
