PM Modi congratulates H.E Cyril Ramaphosa on being re-elected as the President of the Republic of South Africa

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi congratulated H.E Cyril Ramaphosa on being re-elected as the President of the Republic of South Africa, today. PM Modi also expressed that he was looking forward to work with President Ramaphosa to further strengthen the strategic partnership between India and South Africa.

Shri Modi in a post on “X” tweeted;

"Warm congratulations, Excellency @CyrilRamaphosa on your re-election as the President of the Republic of South Africa. I look forward to working with you to further strengthen the India-South Africa strategic partnership.”

Prime Minister highlights values of harmony and compassion on Good Friday

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that Good Friday reminds us of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Shri Modi expressed hope that the day deepens the values of harmony, compassion and forgiveness.

He said that brotherhood and hope should guide everyone.

In a X post, Shri Modi said;

“Good Friday reminds us of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice. May this day further deepen the values of harmony, compassion and forgiveness. May brotherhood and hope guide us all.”
