PM Narendra Modi salutes the valour of jawans on Armed Forces Flag Day

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has saluted the soldiers and veterans of Armed Forces, on Armed Forces Flag Day.

"On Armed Forces Flag Day we salute the valour and sacrifice of our brave soldiers and veterans and re-affirm our commitment to their welfare", the Prime Minister said.

PM Modi also met officers of the Kendriya Sainik Board.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the power of determination, perseverance, and courage in overcoming life's challenges and turning adverse circumstances into favorable ones.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"दैवं पुरुषकारेण यः समर्थः प्रबाधितुम्।

न दैवेन विपन्नार्थः पुरुषः सोऽवसीदति॥"

A person who possesses the determination, perseverance and courage to turn adverse circumstances into favorable ones is never defeated by the challenges of life. Instead, through continuous effort and unwavering resolve, he moves forward and ultimately achieves success.
