Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi has expressed his firm resolve to develop the Bhadrakali Temple area, and to transform the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital. He was addressing the public rally at the Kankariya Carnival Conclusion ceremony today. He also expressed his firm determination to complete the Sabarmati River Front Project.

The weeklong Kankariya Carnival, which had unfolded its magic ambience and attracted lakhs of people, has concluded today.

Chief Minister accorded grand welcome to the pair of Asiatic lion at the Zoo and he also enjoyed a trip in Atal-Express (Mini Train) a journey with the children.

Weaving a rich tapestry of music and songs, presenting our rich and fabulous cultural heritage, the students of municipal schools demonstrated stunning experiments of yoga and Surya Namaskar, mesmerising the audience with their scintillating performances. Shri Narendrabhai Modi handed over prizes to the top achievers under various contests and competitions, which were organised during the Carnival. Chief Minister had congratulated the citizens of Ahmedabad for the mega success of the Carnival. Chief Minister said, It is really a historic event that has offered platform to more than 12.5 thousand artists. People have demonstrated unprescented zeal and enthusiasm .More than 20 Lakh people have captured the glory, and have enjoyed the festivity.

The Kankariya Lake Front project has transformed the image of East-Ahmedabad. The Sabarmati River Front Project is destined to convert the metro city in to Mini-Hong Kong. He reaffirmed his resolve to undertake an ambitious project of transforming Ahmedabad Civil Hospital, added the Chief Minister.

The Minister of Kerala has praised the milestone achievements and the success of Gujarat Government. Chief Minister extended his greetings to the people for the New Year. He resolved for annihilating terrorism and stuck to his stand for zero tolerance to the terror activities. Mayor Kanaji Thakor delivered welcome address.

Ministers Smt Anandiben patel, Shri Fakirbhai Vaghela, Shri Ramanalal Viradi Dr.Mayaben Kodanani, M.P. Shri Ratilal Verma, office bearers of the corporation were among the others who attended the ceremony.

Prime Minister shares Sanskrit Subhashitam, expresses gratitude to farmers during festive occasions

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that several festivals are being celebrated across different parts of the country. He noted that on such occasions filled with joy and enthusiasm, the nation remains grateful to its hardworking farmer brothers and sisters who nourish the entire country.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“इत्थं फलति शुद्धेन सिक्तं सङ्कल्पवारिणा।
पुण्यबीजमपि स्वल्पं पुंसां कृषिकृतामिव॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that Just as a small seed sown by a farmer, when watered at the right time, gradually grows and yields a bountiful harvest, in the same way, even a small effort made with pure intentions leads a person to great success.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“देश के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में अभी कई पर्व-त्योहार मनाए गए हैं। उमंग और उल्लास से भरे इन अवसरों के लिए हम अपने परिश्रमी किसान भाई-बहनों के कृतज्ञ हैं, जो पूरे देश का पोषण करते हैं।
