Shri Prakash Javadekar, Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today, and presented him with a sapling on the occasion of World Environment Day.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-
“सुवर्ण-रौप्य-माणिक्य-वसनैरपि पूरिताः।
तथापि प्रार्थयन्त्येव कृषकान् भक्ततृष्णया।।”
The Subhashitam conveys that even when possessing gold, silver, rubies, and fine clothes, people still have to depend on farmers for food.
The Prime Minister wrote on X;
