Chief Minister reviews Internal and Coastal-Area Securities in the State  In the wake of heinous affront of terror in Mumbai, Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi convened an urgent high level meeting at Gandhinagar today. He reviewed the internal security of the State during the meet with higher officials of Home Department and top police officials. On the directives given by him, internal security arrangements in the State have been beefed up.

Minister of State for Home Shri Amitbhai Shah, Additional Principal Home Secretary Shri Balvantsingh, D.G.P. Shri P.C.Pandey, and higher officials sought preliminary reports of the recent terror attacks in Mumbai.

Chief Minister asked the officials to remain fully vigilant and to make elaborate security arrangements across the State, including the security of the coastal regions.

Prime Minister highlights efforts to preserve and promote India’s cultural heritage

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has highlighted efforts to preserve and promote India’s cultural heritage and said that India’s cultural heritage is being preserved, celebrated and carried forward with renewed vigour.

The Prime Minister stated that guided by the vision of ‘Virasat Bhi, Vikas Bhi’, efforts ranging from the repatriation of antiquities to strengthening spiritual and pilgrimage infrastructure are reconnecting people with India’s timeless traditions.

In a post on X, he said;
