Chief Minister releases the Bal-Vishwa Kosh Granth-1

On the occasion of Granthotsav, Chief Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi said, “Physical Growth and prosperity can offer the glory and pride. But only the culture of art and literature can offer us the commingling divine experience.” Chief Minister called upon the scholars to create knowledge-encyclopedia that enshrines the eternal cultural glory and rich cultural legacy of our country. The Gujarati language and Gujarati literature would highlight ‘Satya-truth’ and the ‘Satva-basic elements’ of our literature, C.M added.

Gujarat Vishwa Kosh Trust had organised Granthotsav at Ahmedabad today. On this occasion, Chief Minister released Bal Vishwa-Kosh Granth-1, Saint Pujya Moraribapu released the 25th Edition of Vishva-Kosh and distinguished thinker Shri Gunavant Shah had also released various publications.

The terminology of growth and development may revolve around physical progress and prosperity. Chief Minister’s narratives gave succinct account of development that provides facilities, technological systems and physical glory. But the art and literature offers us a commingling divine experience in a true sense. Every society ought to make efforts to strengthen the base of Art& Literature. Without that the physical development becomes soul -less.

Chief Minister gave compliments to Dr. Dhirubhai for his relentless efforts since last 25 years, under which he has dedicated himself for accumulating knowledge and wisdom for the generations to come. He expressed his inner feelings, “The Vishwa-Kosh activates are truly helpful for emulating true historic values and ethics in to the society. “

Gujarat Government is steadfastly committed to the vision of child–empowerment .He outlined the theme of Children University. He reiterated his view to make best movies for children, with its central theme to inculcate values and ethics in to the children.

Saint Pujya Moraribapu showered his blessings. He appreciated the creative vision of Shri Dhirubhai and his entire team.

Renowned thinker Shri Gunavant Shah, Chairman of Vishwa-Kosh Trust Shri Shrenikbhai Kasturbhai presented their views. Shri Kumarpal Desai outlined the theme of Vishwa-Kosh series.

Trusty Shri Nitin Shukla proposed vote of thanks. Leading scholars, eminent word-smiths were among the others who attended the Granthotsav function.

PM announces ex-gratia from PMNRF

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to the capsizing of a boat in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.

The Prime Minister extended his condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this tragic mishap and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured. He also noted that the local administration is assisting those affected.

Shri Modi announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) would be given to the next of kin of each of those who lost their lives, and the injured would be given Rs. 50,000.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"The loss of lives due to the capsizing of a boat in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, is extremely painful. I extend my condolences to those who have lost their loved ones in this tragic mishap. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. The local administration is assisting those affected.
