Swami Vivekananda’s powerful thoughts serve as inspiration for the youth: PM

Prime Minister Modi while inaugurating the Ramayana Darshanam event at Vivekananda Kendra said that Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts continue to inspire us even today. Paying rich tributes to Swami Vivekananda, PM Modi said that his thoughts can inspire our country’s youth to contribute towards nation building.

“12th January is no ordinary day. This is a day etched in history as a day when India was blessed with one of the greatest thinkers, a guiding light and a stalwart who took India’s message to the entire world”, said the Prime Minister.

Shri Modi added, “Swami Vivekananda’s powerful thoughts continue to shape several minds. India is a youthful country. Over eighty crore population is below the age of thirty five. It is because of their constant efforts India is climbing new heights of progress. Swami Vivekananda’s powerful thoughts can inspire them all towards nation building.”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

President Pezeshkian briefed the Prime Minister on the recent developments in West Asia and the way forward.
