Students from Mizoram meet Hon. CM

Gandhinagar, Wednesday: A group of 15 students of Mizoram Rashtra Sevika Samiti from India’s North-East State met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today.

The group on an educational tour of Gujarat is led by Ms. Melita Lyngdoh. They also watched the proceedings of Gujarat Assembly.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today paid tribute to India’s timeless culture and spiritual heritage, emphasizing its resilience in the face of countless attacks over centuries.

The Prime Minister noted that India’s civilisational journey has endured because of the collective strength of its people, who have safeguarded the nation’s cultural legacy with unwavering commitment.

Quoting a Sanskrit verse on X, he reflected on the deeper meaning of resilience:

“हमारी महान संस्कृति और आध्यात्मिक विरासत अनगिनत हमलों की भी साक्षी रही है। यह देशवासियों की सामूहिक शक्ति ही है, जिसने हमारी सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को हमेशा अक्षुण्ण रखा है।

वनानि दहतो वह्नेः सखा भवति मारुतः।

स एव दीपनाशाय कृशे कस्यास्ति सौहृदम् ।।”
