South African high-level delegation led by High Commissioner F. K. Morule meets Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi

Gandhinagar, Wednesday: A high-level delegation of South Africa led High Commissioner F.K. Morule today called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today.

Mr. Morule welcomed Mr. Modi’s invite to South Africa to participate as Country Partner in the next edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit scheduled to be held in 2015. He also hailed Mr. Modi’s plan to commemorate Mahatma Gandhi’s 100 years of return to India from South Africa in 1915 as in a befitting manner as yearlong centenary celebration in 2015.

Mr. Morule stressed on the need for co-operation between South Africa and India (Gujarat) for the development of diamond industries, since his country tops in rough diamond production and Gujarat in diamond processing-polishing.

During his visit to Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) here, Mr. Morule expressed happiness at learning that students from his country were studying at the institute. He also praised Mr. Modi’s vision for development.
