Smriti Van chronicles Gujarat’s resilience: PM

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed happiness that people are visiting Smriti Van in Bhuj to pay tribute to the those tragically lost in the Earthquake of 2001

In a reply to a tweet by Gujarat Information, the Prime Minister tweeted:

“Happy to see this. Smriti Van is a tribute to those we tragically lost in the Earthquake of 2001. It also chronicles Gujarat’s resilience. The coming months will be a great time to visit Kutch. There’s the Rann Utsav and now there’s Smriti Van also.”

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today condoled the demise of Dr. Shyam Bihari Lal Ji, Member of Legislative Assembly from Faridpur, Uttar Pradesh.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said:

“उत्तर प्रदेश के फरीदपुर के विधायक डॉ. श्याम बिहारी लाल जी के निधन से अत्यंत दुख हुआ है। वे जनहित में समर्पित भाजपा के एक कर्मठ नेता थे, जिनके जाने से पार्टी को अपूरणीय क्षति हुई है। शोक की इस घड़ी में उनके परिजनों और समर्थकों के प्रति मेरी गहरी संवेदनाएं। ओम शांति!”
