Shri Narendra Modi will speak at the Young Indian Leaders Conclave being organized by the Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG) at 4:30 PM on Saturday 29th June 2013 in Ahmedabad. The conclave will witness the top 200 young minds from across India come together to deliberate on the theme of ‘How Government and Business can change to provide better opportunities’.

The keynote speaker for the event is Honorable Former President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who will address the audience on ‘How to realize an economically developed India’. The conference shall also witness other eminent speakers like Mr. Deepak Parekh (Chairman, HDFC), Mr. Arindam Bhattacharya (Sr Partner & MD, BCG India) , Mr. Sidharth Punshi (MD, JP Morgan(India)), Dr. Syed Zafar Mehmood (President, Zakat Foundation of India), Prof. Brij Kothari (IIM A & Social Entrepreneur) and Mr. Vallabh Bhansali (Chairman, ENAM Financial & Trustee, Global Pagoda). The event shall be moderated by Mr. ShivnathThukral.

CAG is a non-profit organization, initiated by a group of young and spirited professionals, committed to improving the social and economic outcomes for Indian citizens by ushering in an atmosphere of transparent and responsible governance.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to train accident in Odisha.

In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

"Distressed by the train accident in Odisha. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. May the injured recover soon. Spoke to Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw and took stock of the situation. Rescue ops are underway at the site of the mishap and all possible assistance is being given to those affected."
