Shri Narendra Modi shared his displeasure at the Interim Budget by calling it a glorified exercise in self-congratulation. He retorted to the FM’s statement of there being no policy paralysis by saying that in reality policy paralysis was the only constant policy of the UPA government.
Sharing his preference for certain positive aspects of the Budget Shri Modi said that he welcomed the decision for 'One Rank, One Pension' for the servicemen.
The only solace from the vote-on-account, according to Shri Modi, was that this was the UPA government’s final act of misery after a decade of decay and policy paralysis.
Shri Modi tweeted:
UPA's last vote-on-account is extremely disappointing! It is nothing but a glorified exercise in self-congratulation.— Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) February 17, 2014
FM says 296 projects worth Rs. 6.6 lakh crore cleared recently. Why were these projects held back at all? Is it not policy paralysis? — Narendra Modi (@narendramodi) February 17, 2014
