On the evening of Saturday 25th March 2013 Shri Narendra Modi strongly condemned the attack on a Congress rally in Chhattisgarh. Describing the attack as a gruesome attack on our democracy, Shri Modi paid condolences to the deceased and prayed for a speedy recovery of those injured. He urged the nation to stand united and fight this menace of Naxalism that threatens our democracy.

Expressing his views on Twitter Shri Modi said, Gruesome attack in Chhattisgarh is an attack on democracy. Time has come to adopt policy of Zero Tolerance towards Terrorism & Naxalism.

Prime Minister expresses pride in Indian contingent’s performance at Commonwealth Games 2026

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed pride in the performance of the Indian contingent at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

The Prime Minister expressed delight that India won 39 medals, including 13 Gold medals, and congratulated all the medal winners.

Shri Modi said that throughout the Games, the Indian athletes displayed exceptional skill, determination and dedication. He added that their hard work will continue to inspire the nation’s youth.

Shri Modi also extended his best wishes to the entire Indian contingent for their future endeavours and expressed hope that they would continue to bring greater glory to the nation.

Shri Modi wrote on X;

“Proud of our contingent’s performance at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
