Science and Technology: A vibrant and fast growing space in India-UK partnership

PM Narendra Modi welcomed the decisions taken to boost India-UK partnership in the field of science and technology. He took note that under ‘Newton-Bhabha Programme’, scientists of both countries are researching on eliminating several diseases.

Both the countries are collectively working on devising ways to ensure people have access to clean energy and combat climate change. Also, India and the UK are working on finding ways to increase crop production and food security. PM Modi also stated that in the coming times, both countries will set up a ‘Clean Energy Centre’.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the nation on the advent of the New Year 2026.

Shri Modi highlighted through the Subhashitam that the goal of life is to be equipped with virtues of knowledge, disinterest, wealth, bravery, power, strength, memory, independence, skill, brilliance, patience and tenderness.

Quoting the ancient wisdom, the Prime Minister said:

“2026 की आप सभी को बहुत-बहुत शुभकामनाएं। कामना करते हैं कि यह वर्ष हर किसी के लिए नई आशाएं, नए संकल्प और एक नया आत्मविश्वास लेकर आए। सभी को जीवन में आगे बढ़ने की प्रेरणा दे।

ज्ञानं विरक्तिरैश्वर्यं शौर्यं तेजो बलं स्मृतिः।

स्वातन्त्र्यं कौशलं कान्तिर्धैर्यं मार्दवमेव च ॥”
