The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi performed darshan and pooja at Shree Krishna Janmbhumi Mandir in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh today.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“मथुरा में श्री कृष्ण जन्मभूमि मंदिर में दिव्य पूजन का सौभाग्य मिला। ब्रज के कण-कण में बसे गिरधर गोपाल के मनोहारी दर्शन ने भाव-विभोर कर दिया! मैंने उनसे देशभर के अपने सभी परिवारजनों के लिए सुख-समृद्धि और कल्याण की कामना की। ”

The Prime Minister was accompanied by the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt Anandiben Patel and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath.

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the eight essential qualities that brighten a person's life and build character.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"अष्टौ गुणाः पुरुषं दीपयन्ति प्रज्ञा सुशीलत्वदमौ श्रुतं च।
पराक्रमश्च बहुभाषिता च दानं यथाशक्ति कृतज्ञता च।।"

These eight qualities brighten a person's life. Wisdom shows him the right path. Good conduct keeps his character pure, and self-control keeps him disciplined. Knowledge gives him understanding, courage helps him stand firm in difficult situations, and skillful speech earns him respect in society. Giving according to one's ability and being grateful for kindness make a person complete.
