The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit verse-

“पिबन्ति नद्यः स्वयमेव नाम्भः
स्वयं न खादन्ति फलानि वृक्षाः।

नादन्ति सस्यं खलु वारिवाहाः
परोपकाराय सतां विभूतयः॥”

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“मानवता के अनन्य उपासक परम पूज्य डॉ. श्री श्री श्री शिवकुमार स्वामीजी को उनकी जन्म-जयंती पर कोटि-कोटि नमन! शिक्षा, समाज कल्याण और अध्यात्म के क्षेत्र में उनका अतुलनीय योगदान देश की हर पीढ़ी को निस्वार्थ सेवा के लिए प्रेरित करता रहेगा।

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a telephone conversation today with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

President Pezeshkian briefed the Prime Minister on the recent developments in West Asia and the way forward.

Prime Minister welcomed the understanding reached, and reiterated India’s consistent position that all issues must be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

Prime Minister reiterated the need for continued efforts to ensure lasting peace and stability in the region, and for safeguarding freedom of navigation and commerce.
