PM pays tributes to former Prime Minister, Chandra Shekhar Ji on his birth anniversary

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid tributes to former Prime Minister of India, Chandra Shekhar Ji on his birth anniversary. Shri Modi has said that Chandra Shekhar Ji was a towering personality who was widely admired for his commitment to democratic values and efforts to remove poverty.

The Prime Minister tweeted;

"Chandra Shekhar Ji was a towering personality who was widely admired for his commitment to democratic values and efforts to remove poverty. He always worked for the welfare of the downtrodden and marginalised. Tributes to him on his birth anniversary."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today extended his best wishes to the people of Maharashtra on the occasion of Maharashtra Day.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Best wishes to my sisters and brothers of Maharashtra on Maharashtra Day. Maharashtra has a long history of social awakening, cultural richness and leadership across sectors. From literature, theatre, music and cinema to industry, education, science and public service, the state has made a lasting contribution to India’s growth. Praying for the continuous development of Maharashtra and the well-being of its great people.”
