The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, paid homage to the Father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi on his death anniversary today.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"I pay homage to Pujya Bapu on his Punya Tithi. I also pay homage to all those who have been martyred for our nation. Their sacrifices inspire us to serve the people and fulfil their vision for our nation."

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the virtues of instilling fearlessness and saving lives.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"अभयस्यैव यो दाता तस्यैव सुमहत्फलम् ।

न हि प्राणसमं दानं त्रिषु लोकेषु विद्यते ॥"

Whoever takes away people's fear receives great blessings, and in all three worlds, there is no greater gift than saving a life.
