The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji on his Jayanti today at Vijay Ghat.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam:
“देशाचारान् समयाञ्जातिधर्मान् बुभूषते यस्तु परावरज्ञः।
स तत्र तत्राधिगतः सदैव महाजनस्याधिपत्यं करोति॥"
The Subhashitam emphasizes that respecting the diverse cultures of the world fosters a sense of trust and cooperation among people, and strengthens mutual understanding and brotherhood.
The Prime Minister wrote on X;
दुनिया की अलग-अलग संस्कृतियों का सम्मान करने से लोगों के बीच विश्वास और सहयोग की भावना बढ़ती है। इससे आपसी समझ और भाईचारा और मजबूत होता है।
