Congress and BRS have three things in common in their DNA: dynasty, corruption and appeasement: PM Modi in Hyderabad
BJP is the only party in the country which gives maximum representation to the OBC community. There are 27 OBC ministers in the NDA government at the Centre, which is the highest since independence: PM
Today 80 crore people are being given free ration under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and I have decided that this free ration scheme will be extended for the next 5 years: PM Modi
There is an anti-development, anti-backward class, anti-SC/ST government in Telangana: PM Modi hits out at BRS government

Continuing his election campaigning spree, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke at a public rally in Hyderabad, Telangana, where he conveyed his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state. He acknowledged that the winds that bring change can be witnessed through such public gatherings in Telangana. Also, recognising a message that diverse people from every corner of Telangana brought along, PM Modi said, “The trust of Telangana is now with the BJP.”

PM Modi spoke about the foundational issues that led to the formation of Telangana - water, money, and employment. He expressed his concerns, saying that on all three fronts, the people of Telangana had been let down. The state government consistently ignored BC (Backward Class) interests despite the significant OBC, SC, and ST populations in Telangana, the PM added.

PM Modi also highlighted the presence of a ‘C team’ of the BRS in the form of the Congress and noted the absence of BC aspirations in the Congress’ agenda. He said, “Congress and BRS share three common things in their DNA. One is dynasty, the second is corruption, and the third is nepotism. Corruption thrives in the shelter of these dynastic parties, and opportunities are only available to their relatives. Driven by the mentality of dynasty, BRS and Congress will never let any BC become the Chief Minister here.”

The Prime Minister emphasised the BJP’s commitment to the upliftment and representation of OBC communities across the country. He said, “When BJP had the opportunity, it appointed Droupadi Murmu from the Adivasi community as the President. Dynastic parties never let any Dalit, backward, or Adivasi rise to prominence. Today, BJP is the only party in the country that provides the most representation to the OBC community.”

“In the Union government, there are 27 OBC ministers, the highest since independence. Currently, BJP has 85 OBC Members of Parliament in the country. In the country, the BJP has 365 OBC members in various state legislative assemblies. There are 65 OBC members in the legislative councils associated with BJP in the country today,” the PM added.

Drawing attention towards the lack of opportunities for youth in Telangana by the state government, PM Modi said, “You can witness it yourselves that in Telangana, the necessary resources are not provided to uplift the backward class. The Telangana government is not serious about providing jobs to the youth of the backward class. Even for the skill development of the youth from the backward class, the Telangana government does not pay as much attention.”

Furthermore, PM Modi underscored the significance of the Vishwakarma community and said, “Without the Vishwakarma community, daily life survival is impossible. Our potters, goldsmiths, carpenters, and many more belong to the BC community. For such people, the BJP government has created the PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Under this scheme, 13,000 crores will be spent on our Vishwakarma brothers and sisters. This will help them improve their standard of living and alleviate various troubles in their lives.”

PM Modi said, “I understand poverty; I lived in poverty and decided I would not let poor children sleep without food. Today, 80 crore people are being given free ration and I have decided that this free ration scheme will be extended for the next 5 years.”

Coming down heavily on the state government, PM Modi said, “In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the people of Telangana had responded to such an arrogant CM with the power of their votes. In this frustration, the leaders here keep abusing Modi. BRS’s corruption links are linked to Delhi’s liquor scam. When the agencies started investigating their corruption, these people started abusing the investigating agencies too.”

Continuing his attack, he said, “BRS and Congress are not different. BRS is following the model of nepotism and corruption developed by Congress over seven decades. The intention of both of them together is to loot the property of the state. Both these parties are busy promoting their sons and daughters; they do not care about your sons and daughters.”

PM Modi also stated, “The Telangana government’s actions represent the biggest betrayal of the youth. For the past nine years, students preparing for the TS-PSC exam have experienced nothing but deception. These students have patiently waited for years for the exam to take place, and when it was finally announced, the question paper was leaked. The failure of BRS has severely ruined the future of an entire generation in Telangana.”

“BRS has also betrayed the farmers of the state. The farmers here understand very well the game played by the government by promising to waive off loans up to Rs 1 lakh. This is the BJP government, which takes care of every interest of its farmers. Under PM Kisan Samman Yojana, we have sent Rs 9,000 crores to the farmers directly into their bank accounts. This has directly benefited 35 lakh farmers of Telangana,” he added.

Concluding his speech, PM Modi said, “Today, along with the people of Telangana, the entire country is looking at the goal of a developed India by 2047. The BJP government is committed to ensuring rapid industrial development in Telangana and providing employment to its youth. The BJP government will work for the development of Telangana in every field. For this, a double-engine government is necessary in Telangana.”
