With BJP-Mahayuti, there is momentum, and with momentum, Maharashtra progresses, says PM Modi while interacting with BJP Karykartas via NaMo App
The Mahayuti government is striving for the empowerment of every section of society. This is the key difference between our govt & the Aghadi govt: PM Modi

As part of the ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ program, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directly interacted with BJP karyakartas in Maharashtra via the NaMo App. He said, “The people of Maharashtra are highly impressed with the two-and-a-half years of the Mahayuti government's tenure. Everywhere I have been, I have witnessed this affection. The people of Maharashtra want this government to continue for the next five years.”

“The sentiment echoing across Maharashtra is: "With BJP-Mahayuti, there is momentum, and with momentum, Maharashtra progresses,” he added.

Interacting with one of the BJP karyakartas, PM Modi said, “The Mahayuti government is striving for the empowerment of every section of society. This is the key difference between our government and the Aghadi government, and people can clearly feel this difference.”

Highlighting Congress's ill intentions, PM Modi remarked, "Our government envisions collective progress where everyone has the opportunity to advance. Congress is well aware of its history - when the SC, ST, and OBC communities were less aware, they enjoyed full-majority governments at the center. However, as these communities united, Congress's dominance began to decline. Now, Congress seeks to create deep divisions among these communities to ensure no force remains to oppose them."

While speaking with Vinod Kulkarni, the booth president from Radhanagari, he shared that the people in his booth are very pleased with the government’s schemes. PM Modi encouraged him to inform people about the benefits of these schemes, listen to their concerns, and work towards resolving them. He also highlighted the success of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, which has not only brought electricity bills down to zero but also enabled people to generate income through electricity. Also, PM Modi urged every karyakarta to give their best effort in the final days of the election, focusing on winning polling booths and achieving record voter turnout in every booth.

PM to Address Youth at Khelo India Dialogue on 27th August
August 26, 2026
Khelo India Dialogue will bring together sports, youth leadership, civic responsibility, volunteering, fitness and nation-building on a common platform
Yuva Samvaad under Khelo India Dialogue to Focus on Five Key Themes: Sports, Olympic Aspirations, Youth Leadership, Viksit Bharat and Nasha Mukt Yuva

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address Khelo India Dialogue on 27th August at 11 AM via video conferencing. The programme aims to help the youth engage with India's sporting journey, share their aspirations, and contribute ideas for a stronger youth-led Viksit Bharat.

Organised by Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), as part of the National Sports Day 2026 celebrations, the programme will be conducted across the country with participation of youth at two colleges in every district across States and Union Territories. The programme is being held in line with the Prime Minister's vision of building a fit, disciplined and sporting nation while placing the aspirations of youth at the centre of the national development agenda.

The nationwide Khelo India Dialogue will bring together sports, youth leadership, civic responsibility, volunteering, fitness and nation-building on a common platform. It will provide a direct channel for young people to engage with the country's sporting ambitions, while ensuring that their ideas and perspectives become part of the continuing conversation on India's youth and sports ecosystem.

The national programme will be followed by local interactions involving young participants, MY Bharat volunteers, local sportspersons and public representatives. A major feature of the initiative will be direct interaction between youth having interest in sports and leading Indian athletes and medal winners. A central feature of the programme will be Yuva Samvaad where Young participants will be invited to articulate their own ideas, perspectives and aspirations. The dialogue will be structured around five themes:

  • improving India's sports ecosystem through better facilities, coaching, sports science and inclusive participation;
  • nurturing talent for the 2036 Olympics via scientific talent identification, transparent selection and long-term athlete development;
  • creating youth leaders through governance platforms and MY Bharat-led volunteering;
  • empowering youth for Viksit Bharat by building civic mindedness, future-ready skills and structured volunteering;
  • promoting a Nasha Mukt Yuva movement that leverages sport and peer networks to fight substance abuse, reinforced by weekly Jan Bhagidari activities under PM's 100-week nationwide campaign launched on 2 August 2026.
