PM hails construction of 3.85 km long public transport ropeway in Varanasi

The Prime Minister has hailed the construction of 3.85 km long public transport ropeway in Varanasi at a cost of Rs 644 crore.

Sharing a tweet by Union Minister for Road, Transport & Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari informing about the 3.85 km long public transport ropeway in Varanasi being built at a cost of Rs 644 crore, the Prime Minister tweeted;

“आस्था और टेक्नोलॉजी का अद्भुत संगम! वाराणसी में तैयार हो रहे इस रोप-वे से श्रद्धालुओं के लिए यात्रा का अनुभव बहुत रोचक और यादगार तो होगा ही, इससे बाबा विश्वनाथ के दर्शन में भी उन्हें बहुत सुविधा होगी।”

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has expressed deep grief over the passing of distinguished playback singer S. Janaki Amma.

The Prime Minister said that her passing is an irreparable loss to the world of music and culture. He noted that her songs in various languages were popular across generations and gave voice to every emotion with unparalleled grace and versatility.
