Prime Minister extends Easter Greetings

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, has extended greetings on the occasion of Easter.

The Prime Minister said that this sacred day celebrates hope and renewal. He expressed that Easter may bring peace, joy and brightness to everyone’s lives.

Shri Modi further stated that the teachings of Jesus Christ should inspire all to be kind and strengthen the spirit of togetherness in society.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam highlighting that the true fulfilment of human life lies in constantly working for the welfare and well-being of other living beings.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“एतावज्जन्मसाफल्यं देहिनामिह देहिषु।
प्राणैरर्थैर्धिया वाचा श्रेय एवाचरेत्सदा॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that the ultimate fulfillment of human life in this world lies in constantly performing benevolent and welfare-oriented actions toward other living beings through one's physical capabilities, wealth, intellect, and speech.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;
