The Prime Minister posted on X:

“As the Asian Para Games begin, I convey my best wishes to the incredible Indian contingent! Each athlete representing India has an inspiring life journey. I am confident they will give a glimpse of the true essence of Indian sportsmanship.”

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi paid homage to Parbati Giri Ji on her birth centenary today. Shri Modi commended her role in the movement to end colonial rule, her passion for community service and work in sectors like healthcare, women empowerment and culture.
