Prime Minister congratulates President Trump on success of Gaza peace plan

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi spoke to the President of the United States, Donald Trump and congratulated him on the success of the historic Gaza peace plan.

During their conversation, the two leaders also reviewed the good progress achieved in ongoing trade negotiations. They agreed to remain in close touch over the coming weeks to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

In a post on X, Shri Modi said;

“Spoke to my friend, President Trump and congratulated him on the success of the historic Gaza peace plan. Also reviewed the good progress achieved in trade negotiations. Agreed to stay in close touch over the coming weeks.

Presents a copy of the Gita in Russian to President Putin

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has welcomed President of Russia, Vladimir Putin to India.

"Looking forward to our interactions later this evening and tomorrow. India-Russia friendship is a time tested one that has greatly benefitted our people", Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi also presented a copy of the Gita in Russian to President Putin. Shri Modi stated that the teachings of Gita give inspiration to millions across the world.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

"Delighted to welcome my friend, President Putin to India. Looking forward to our interactions later this evening and tomorrow. India-Russia friendship is a time tested one that has greatly benefitted our people."
