The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi congratulated Pradeep Kumar for winning a silver medal in the men's javelin throw-F54 event at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games today.

He wished Kumar good luck for his future endeavours.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam today, highlighting the virtues of instilling fearlessness and saving lives.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

"अभयस्यैव यो दाता तस्यैव सुमहत्फलम् ।

न हि प्राणसमं दानं त्रिषु लोकेषु विद्यते ॥"

Whoever takes away people's fear receives great blessings, and in all three worlds, there is no greater gift than saving a life.
