Prime Minister Shri Modi remarked that Shri MT Vasudevan Nair Ji's works, with their profound exploration of human emotions, have shaped generations and will continue to inspire many more.

The Prime Minister posted on X:

“Saddened by the passing away of Shri MT Vasudevan Nair Ji, one of the most respected figures in Malayalam cinema and literature. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Shri Modi also prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the mishap.

The Prime Minister’s Office posted on X;

“Deeply saddened by the loss of lives due to a mishap in Nashik, Maharashtra. My thoughts are with those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover soon: PM @narendramodi”
