The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the loss of lives in a road accident in Champawat, Uttarakhand. The Prime Minister has also announced an ex-gratia from the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund (PMNRF) for the victims.
The Prime Minister's Office tweeted;
"उत्तराखंड के चंपावत में हुई दुर्घटना हृदयविदारक है। इसमें जिन लोगों की मृत्यु हुई है, मैं उनके परिजनों के प्रति अपनी शोक-संवेदना व्यक्त करता हूं। स्थानीय प्रशासन राहत और बचाव कार्य में जुटा हुआ है: PM"
