PM Modi arrived in Gothenburg, Sweden, and was warmly welcomed upon arrival by the Swedish PM Ulf Kristersson, himself, as he began an important leg of his five-nation tour. Sweden also sent its fighter jets to escort PM Modi. The visit underlines the growing depth of India-Sweden ties and the shared commitment towards strengthening cooperation across key sectors.

During the visit, the PM will hold bilateral talks with Swedish PM Ulf Kristersson to further advance India-Sweden partnership in multiple sectors.

PM Modi will also participate in the European Business Round Table for Industry along with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and leading European business leaders. The engagement is expected to deepen India-Europe investment linkages and boost collaboration.
