Prime Minister extends greetings on Bihar Diwas

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today extended his heartiest greetings to the people of Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Diwas.

The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to the people of the state, noting that Bihar has long bestowed grandeur and divinity upon Indian heritage. Highlighting that the state is currently engaged in scripting new chapters of progress every day, Shri Modi further affirmed his confidence that the dedication and potential of the hardworking and energetic people of Bihar will play a pivotal role in realizing the resolution of a 'Viksit Bihar' alongside a 'Viksit Bharat.'

The Prime Minister wrote on X:

"बिहार दिवस के अवसर पर राज्य के अपने सभी परिवारजनों को अनेकानेक शुभकामनाएं। भारतीय विरासत को भव्यता और दिव्यता प्रदान करने वाला हमारा यह प्रदेश आज प्रगति के नित-नए अध्याय गढ़ने में जुटा है। मुझे विश्वास है कि विकसित बिहार के साथ विकसित भारत के संकल्प को साकार करने में यहां के कर्मठ एवं ऊर्जावान लोगों का समर्पण और सामर्थ्य बहुत काम आएगा।"

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, said that work done with a selfless spirit is the truest form of humanity. He noted that such actions not only bring inner happiness but also contribute to the welfare of society.

The Prime Minister shared a Sanskrit Subhashitam-

“अद्रोहः सर्वभूतेषु कर्मणा मनसा गिरा।
अनुग्रहश्च दानं च शीलमेतत्प्रशस्यते॥”

The Subhashitam conveys that to hold no hatred towards any living being-in thought, word, or deed, to act with compassion towards all, and to give generously-this is regarded as the highest form of conduct.

The Prime Minister wrote on X;

“निस्वार्थ भाव से किया गया कर्म ही सच्ची मानवता है। इससे आत्मिक खुशी तो मिलती ही है, समाज का भी कल्याण होता है।

अद्रोहः सर्वभूतेषु कर्मणा मनसा गिरा।

अनुग्रहश्च दानं च शीलमेतत्प्रशस्यते॥”
