PM to address nation on ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on 26th April

The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will address the nation in the next series of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on 26th April. 

In a tweet he said, “Looking forward to 'Mann Ki Baat' on the 26th of this month.” 

This is the seventh edition of the radio program in which PM shares his thoughts with the citizens. 

The Prime Minister has already interacted directly with the people in the earlier six editions of ‘Mann Ki Baat’. He has dwelt upon several issues close to the hearts of the people such as Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, promotion of khadi, skill development, scholarship for disabled children, infrastructure for educational institutions, menace of drugs and the issues related to farmers. In the last edition broadcast on 22nd March, he shared the concerns of farmers and said that the government will take proper and prompt steps to resolve their problems and do its level best to help them tide over difficult situation. 

In another earlier edition, the Prime Minister had urged the students to shed their examination stress and worry and develop a positive attitude. He also shared the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ forum with the US President Barack Obama during his visit to India in January when the two leaders interacted with the people on a host of issues. 

The Prime Minister has from time to time invited citizens to share their ideas and thoughts on the subject in the Open Forum of MyGov.in. The program has generated an encouraging response from citizens across the country. It is simultaneously broadcast live on all channels of All India Radio and Doordarshan. The program would also be live-streamed on the Prime Minister's official website.

Prime Minister condoles the demise of poet and thinker Ande Sri

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over demise of prolific poet and thinker, Ande Sri. Shri Modi stated that the passing of Ande Sri leaves a deep void in our cultural and intellectual landscape. "His thoughts reflected the soul of Telangana. His thoughts reflected the soul of Telangana. A prolific poet and thinker, he was the voice of the people, articulating their struggles, aspirations and undying spirit. His words had the power to stir hearts, unite voices and give shape to the collective pulse of society. The way he blended social consciousness with lyrical beauty was outstanding", Shri Modi said.

The Prime Minister posted on X:
